The room is OK, the surrounding environment is very good, there is the beach and shopping area. The only downside is that there is a railway next to it, which is a bit noisy at night. Other things are very satisfactory.

Booked online, stayed many times. Will not stay again. If you don’t have a room that someone books and prefers with an ocean view, Then maybe be a little more professional and kind.. we did not stay, Was promised per manager, who was a real B. would not be charged. Will see??

This is the tallest hotel in the area and it is convenient to the beach and pier. I was on the 8th floor, and my window faced west. While I enjoyed the view from the hotel, the small balcony was not practical due to the steady traffic noise from nearby US 101. The room was insulated enough so the noise was muted indoors. The hotel is a couple blocks from the Amtrak Ventura stop (Pacific Surfliner), and I rode the train to get to the hotel, so I did not need the valet or self-park service.

In our recent stay on May29, 2025 our room #305 it was a clean room with a clean balcony, Just a strong odor took over the room of body odor/pillow head it was on the sitting chair, pillow, towels, you could tell they had been washed. Nothing smells clean just a funky smell, this is not the first time we had commented on this issue. It is the only hotel on the beach, prime location to restaurants and the beach. Please use better detergent and disinfectant. We sprayed the room with Lysol, left the sliding glass door open to air out the room.

I love that Crowne Plaza offers amenities such as room service, valet service, concierge service, a restaurant, bar and much more. The room was very clean. The food was excellent. The beds are very comfortable and the service was excellent. The location could not be better. The noise from traffic is noticeable but with the patio door closed, the noise isn’t an issue. I will definitely stay at Crowne Plaza again.
